Relationship between Carlo Ancelotti and Dunga turns sour

Dunga has been a raising hairs everywhere since taking over the Brazilian team and this time it is Milan and Carlo Ancelotti that has been caught in the crossfire.

AC Milan has openly criticised Dunga for causing the ongoing saga over Kaka’s injury after reports surfaced that Kaka was not happy with the Milan doctors.

“In six days with the Brazilian team doctors I have improved more than in five weeks with those of Milan,” Kaka stated in an interview when he was in Brazil.

However, Gatusso and Milan believe that Kaka did not say such a thing and Dunga is the person behind it all.

“The controversy on the evolution of his injury was started by Dunga, not Kaka. I know players of other teams who choose Milan Lab to come and cure themselves, and this says it all. The daily report of our injuries goes through the hands of Adriano Galliani every day, and he’s very precise and very present, therefore there are no problems,” stated Gatusso.

“The only problem about Kaka was that of time, as it was predicted that he could return in 15 days, but then, as it happens every day to those who work in any company, the injury, in his case the pain, was not solved in the expected times. That’s all,” concluded Gattuso

Carlo Ancelotti has also spoken out about how he is surprised that Dunga is not playing Pato more and the lack of communication for the Brazilian coach.

“I was unpleasantly surprised by how little Dunga uses him. At the start he didn’t play much with us either, but he lacked experience. However, he slowly worked his way into the team and now he’s doing very well,” said Ancelotti.

“Also in this case I want to tell Dunga that if he wants to know about a player’s condition, he should contact me, like Lippi always does,” added an angry Ancelotti.

AC Milan Chief Leonardo has been quick to insist that the friendship between Dunga and Milan is still very strong.

“What happened with the coach of Brazil in recent days is due to a lack of communication,” said Leonardo. “Our relationship with the Brazilian national team is really good, there will be more and more communication.”
