Alexandre Pato wasted no time in opening his goal scoring account for Milan this season. Pato scored both of Milan’s goals in the their win against Siena, with help from Ronaldinho and Flamini.
Milan had a poor pre-season, winning only one of seven games. This meant that all eyes were on new coach Leonardo and a Milan team without Kaka. Milan scored the first with an excellent pass by Ronaldinho to find Pato in the box and Pato made no mistakes. Chracteristic of Milan, there defense slacked off and Siena were able to equalise 10 mins later.
Both teams were leveled going into the second half but it was Leonardo’s half time talk that gave Milan the edge. Pato found the net again after only three minutes as he combined passes with Ronaldinho and Flamini.
Ronaldinho and Flamini also had a excellent game and it was a deserving win for Milan.
